Maine oyster farmer and military veteran Graham Platner, who is running for U.S. Senate, says he has covered up one of his tattoos with a new design after he learned it resembled a Nazi symbol.
Platner first addressed the tattoo during an appearance on "Pod Save America," a political podcast hosted by former aides to former President Barack Obama.
Platner's team provided video to host Tommy Vietor that showed the Democratic candidate in his underwear at his brother's wedding in 2015, lip-syncing to the Miley Cyrus song "Wrecking Ball."
The video also shows Platner had a skull-and-crossbones tattoo on his chest that appears to resemble "Totenkopf," German for "death's head."
