The Boston Celtics may have to continue life without their superstar forward for the entire 2025–26 season. Despite recent optimism surrounding Jayson Tatum ’s recovery from a torn Achilles tendon, team co-owner and Alternate Governor Wyc Grousbeck has made it clear that the organization is not counting on his return.
“We’re not going to ever ask him to come back. We’re assuming he’s not coming back. He’s expected not to be here this season,” Grousbeck said in an interview with WEEI. Expand Tweet
