The Harvey Police Department is investigating multiple allegations of criminal and sexual assault that occurred at University of Chicago hospital in the area, according to a press release, with officials saying the person of interest is a Physician Assistant "where he interacted with patients and contributed to medical operations."

According to police, the initial incident was reported several months ago at the University of Chicago Ingalls Memorial Hospital, at 1 Ingalls Drive in Harvey. Police went on to say the investigation "may involve multiple victims across various medical facilities."

A City of Harvey spokesperson said there are currently three alleged victims, including two patients and one employee, but there could be more.
