Fashion designer Georgina Chapman, co-founder of the luxury brand Marchesa and the ex-wife of Harvey Weinstein , is facing foreclosure on her West Village apartment and multiple lawsuits tied to her business interests.
According to a foreclosure complaint filed earlier this year, Chapman and her brother, Edward Chapman — Marchesa’s CEO — defaulted on a $2.5 million mortgage secured against that two-bedroom Manhattan condo, the Real Deal first reported .
The suit, obtained by The Post, claims the siblings stopped making payments on the loan in November 2024, which carried monthly installments of more than $9,000. The suit says they now owe the full principal along with accrued interest and late fees, which totals that $2.5 million sum, plus interest, late charges and legal fees.
