HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — An inmate who escaped from the Henderson County Jail is now back behind bars and facing new charges.
As we reported, Timothy Allen escaped from the jail on Tuesday. He was there serving out a sentence for Burglary.
Oliver was captured about 24 hours later in an area of Reed, Kentucky, about 19 miles away from the jail.

Following his brief escape, Oliver has now been booked back into the Henderson County Jail.
Jail records show he's now being charged with Escape in the second degree.
