Rytas secured a very important victory in the third round of Group A in the Basketball Champions League, defeating visiting Promitheas on their home court with a score of 98-79.

The standout player for the Lithuanian powerhouse was Arturas Gudaitis with 19 points and six rebounds. Jordan Walker also performed well with 14 points, while Gytis Radzevicius scored 13. Gytis Masiulis had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

For the visitors, the best impression was left by Kendal Coleman with 18 points, followed by Rob Gray with 17.

The key quarter of the game was the first, in which the home team built a double-digit lead. At times, the lead reached as much as 20 points, but Promitheas managed to cut the deficit toward the end. However, Rytas’s lead was never truly threatened.
