Salomon lovers are kicking up their heels over the celebrity-loved sneaker brand’s first West Coast store, which opened this week at 8620 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood .

The outpost comes amid Salomon’s North America expansion, which includes a total of four brick-and-mortar shops with another shop expected to open by year’s end. Ahead of the Oct. 21 launch, Salomon hosted a public pop-up at Skylight ROW DTLA last week as a way to shine a light on the XT-6 silhouette, a signature Sportstyle design embodying the brand’s alpine heritage to lifestyle influence. Designed as a gallery of sorts, the “multi-sensory” installation was meant to showcase how the XT-6 has been reimagined by global audiences.
