PARK CITY, Utah (ABC4) — From her early days as a ski racer in Italy to becoming a two-time Olympian, Francesca Clapcich’s journey is one of grit, passion, and purpose.
As Clapcich prepares to embark on the Transat Café L’OR — an elite trans-Atlantic race — she’s not just chasing speed across the ocean; she’s championing representation, inclusion, and environmental stewardship.
She moved to Park City in 2018, drawn by the mountains and the lifestyle her wife introduced her to.
“It’s a place that I love,” Clapcich said. “There’s so much outdoors—everything I enjoy.”
