Players who sign with LIV Golf beginning in 2026 will have increased responsibilities beyond the league’s 14 annual events.

Newly contracted players will also be expected to play a minimum of two International Series events on the Asian Tour, according to a report by Flushing It. While many players already compete in multiple Asian Tour events on their own, the new requirement further strengthens the partnership between LIV Golf and the International Series.

LIV’s indemnity policy that covers fines imposed on its players by the DP World Tour expires at the end of 2025, which could lead to more players competing on the Asian Tour. The International Series also affords the critical opportunity for LIV players to earn Official World Golf Ranking points.
