Roger Goodell believes Bad Bunny’s upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance is going to be an “exciting and a united moment.”

Speaking Wednesday at the Fall League Meeting in New York, the NFL commissioner addressed the controversy that has swirled around the decision to host the Puerto Rican superstar on the game’s biggest stage next February in Santa Clara, Calif.

“It’s carefully thought through,” Goodell said. “I’m not sure we’ve ever selected an artist where we didn’t have some blowback or criticism. It’s pretty hard to do when you have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching.” 5
