TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A teenager was booked into the Snake River Juvenile Detention Center after leading police on a chase down Pole Line Road early Wednesday morning, according to the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
The pursuit began around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday when officers were in a short pursuit with another speeding vehicle on Pole Line Road from Blue Lakes Boulevard N. Moments later, a deputy saw a silver sedan speeding westbound on Pole Line Road and attempted a traffic stop. The car accelerated and the driver ran the red light at Pole Line Road and Grandview Drive. The sedan then rammed a deputy’s vehicle. The teenage driver was taken to a hospital.
The teenager was arrested shortly after and booked eluding police and possession of a stolen vehicle.
