ATLANTA — Georgia Tech Police have identified a 28-year-old suspect after shots were fired at a dining hall on campus on Tuesday night.

Georgia Tech Communications said Delante Mayes is wanted in connection with this case.

11Alive obtained an alert message that went out alerting the Georgia Tech community that an altercation broke out at West Village Dining Commons between two employees. The message said it resulted in shots being fired, adding that there was no threat to campus.

Officials with Georgia Tech said the shooting involved employees of a third-party staffing agency in an area of the dining hall that is only accessible to staff.
