Huronia West OPP have charged a man after a police chase that began in Wasaga Beach and ended on hwy 26 east in Clearview.

It happened yesterday morning around 10…police tried to pull over a sedan for speeding on Sunnidale Road South in the beach – but the driver took off.

Not long after that the black sedan was intercepted and stopped. The 28 year old from Burlington was arrested and faces a raft of charges including flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation, fail to comply with probation, driving while suspended, speeding and licence plate offences.

He had a bail hearing in Barrie court today.
