Throughout the week, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has been stating that the team is set to play the Pittsburgh Steelers, who just happen to have quarterback Aaron Rodgers, not playing Aaron Rodgers. Clearly, there’s an attempt to diffuse the talk about a potential revenge game, and that was reciprocated by Rodgers on Wednesday.
Rodgers was asked about his opinion on playing the team that drafted him back in 2005, and started his response with “I don’t have any animosity toward the organization.” Smiling, he said, “This is not a revenge game to me. I’m just excited to see some of those guys.”
