Tennessee Health Facilities Commission approved the certificate of need application for the new inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the 96-acre Ascension Saint Thomas Clarksville Health Campus.

Construction is expected to begin in 2026, with the hospital expected to open in 2028, according to a release.

The 40-bed facility marks the third joint venture rehabilitation hospital partnership between Nashville-based Ascension Saint Thomas and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, an operating division of Brentwood-based Lifepoint Health
