LAFAYETTE, Ind.(WLFI) - For 21 years, the Great Pumpkin Patch has been bringing together families for fall and helping local charities.

If you haven't found your perfect pumpkin yet, you still have time. The Great Pumpkin Patch at the Congress Street United Methodist Church is going on for another week and a half.

It's a tradition that families in the community look forward to in the fall.

Families can enjoy a pumpkin patch that's in the middle of town. It's a lot easier to manage with little ones, especially when there's the pumpkin patch's famous cookies involved.

Event co-chair Sandy Oswalt said, "They park their car and head right towards the pumpkin cookies and we know that's right what they're after. So we made 711 dozen cookies this year."
