A young woman who was tragically found dead at a flat in Manchester city centre has been named as Kadey Anglin.

Emergency crews were called to an address on Grosvenor Street, off Oxford Road , in the early hours of last Thursday (October 16).

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said officers responded to reports of a concern for welfare.

A 20-year-old woman was found unresponsive at the scene. She has now been confirmed to be Ms Anglin.

Manchester Coroners' Court confirmed a file had been received in relation to her death. An inquest is expected to be opened in due course.

A GMP spokesperson said Ms Anglin's death is being investigated by the force, with enquires ongoing.
