WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — An iconic toy store is coming back to Wichita just in time for the holiday season, BestReviews reports.

Toys 'R' Us is making its return to Wichita with a flagship store at Towne East Square.

In 2018, Wichita lost its last Toys 'R' Us storefront in Eastgate Plaza after the chain filed for bankruptcy, closing nearly 180 stores.

Some locations are already open, while others, like the Wichita location, will debut throughout the holiday season.
