October is winding down, and holiday festivities will soon be ramping up around the Midlands.

If you enjoy the holiday tradition of making gingerbread houses, the 3rd Annual South Carolina Gingerbread House Competition is inviting bakers, artists, designers, local businesses, and holiday enthusiasts of all ages to showcase their creativity in a celebration of community and craftsmanship.

Registration is now open for the event, which will be held December 4 - 6 at AIA Columbia, located at 1530 Main Street in Columbia. With the success of the past two years, the competition has become a holiday tradition for the Midlands and beyond, attracting participants from across the state and visitors excited to see the edible art all in the spirit of community.
