GOTHA, Fla. – It was an unwelcome guest late at night when a family in Gotha encountered a bear on their front porch. The moment was captured on their doorbell camera.

Julissa Pena says she couldn’t believe it when her son, who was sitting in the car in their driveway, called to tell them not to open the door because a bear was approaching the house.

“It’s a sight I couldn’t believe.” Pena adds, “It started sniffing around. It came to the door and then started walking away and came this way (towards the garbage cans).”

Pena says thankfully no one in her family was hurt, as it was a shock for everyone to see.
