PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III has returned to practice on Wednesday. Austin, who missed the last two games with a shoulder injury, says that he feels ready to go as long as he gets the green light.
Head coach Mike Tomlin said that he is ‘optimistic’ that Austin will play on Sunday against the Packers.
Austin has missed the last two games with the injury he suffered in Dublin. He not practice all of last week or this week while recovering from a shoulder injury against the Minnesota Vikings . Roman Wilson started in his place against the Bengals with 33 snaps, Scotty Miller played 9 snaps as well. Ke’Shawn Williams took his place as the punt returner.
Austin was sent to a local hospital and put in a sling after immediately suffering the injury
