Alexander Isak suffered an injury scare during Liverpool's win over Eintracht Frankfurt, Arne Slot has confirmed.

The Swedish striker was taken off at half time in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Isak had started for the Reds as they ended their losing run with a 5-1 thrashing of the Bundesliga outfit.

It followed four consecutive losses in all competitions for Slot's side, dating back to before the international break.

However, there were still negatives from their trip to Germany with a pair of injury concerns for the Premier League champions.

Jeremie Frimpong was forced off after just 19 minutes with what appears to be a hamstring injury.

The Dutch full-back, who sustained a similar issue earlier in the season, was replaced by Conor Bradley.
