The Coconino Panthers golf teams earned a pair of individual runner-up finishes during Monday's section tournaments hosted by Prescott High School at Antelope Hills Golf Course in Prescott.

For the Coconino boys team, a combined score of 310 held off the host school's 311 as the Division II Panthers earned their first-ever Northwest Section title. Junior Karsten McCain shot a 72 to take second overall among individuals, with senior Luke Edden finishing with a 74 to place third. Senior Collin Peace's 82 and sophomore Keen Bartholomew's 86 rounded out Coconino's totals.
