The city’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development has rolled out dozens of new affordable housing listings, giving working families a chance to find stability right here in the five boroughs.

Acting HPD Commissioner Ahmed Tigani tells PIX11 Monica Morales there are dozens of open housing lotteries available right now, including brand-new developments like “The Concern Logan” in Brooklyn.

And for NYCHA residents, change is finally coming. A new online tool now allows tenants to see court-ordered building violations, from leaks to mold, giving families more transparency and the power to push for repairs.
