BBC viewers have described the latest episode of Celebrity Traitors as ‘absolute cinema’ following a history-making roundtable vote.

Things are heating up inside the Scottish castle as fan favourites continue to be either murdered in the night by traitors or banished by fellow contestants.

At the start of Wednesday night’s episode, viewers learned the fate of Charlotte Church, who was murdered by the trio of traitors – Cat Burns, Alan Carr and Jonathon Ross – in an attempt to bamboozle the group.

The singer became the sixth faithful to exit the series, alongside actor Ruth Codd, comedian Tameka Empson, Clare Balding, Tom Daley and Paloma Faith.
