The Dallas Cowboys came into their rivalry matchup with the Washington Commanders with a bad taste in their mouth after a 30-27 loss on the road to the Carolina Panthers.
The good news for Dallas was that star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb returned for the Week 7 clash that the Cowboys dominated, catching five passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in his return from a three-game injury absence in the 44-22 win.
While the Cowboys defense has been mostly woeful in the 2025 campaign the offense has been anything but, especially when they’ve been able to field both Lamb and George Pickens. Lamb has yet to post fewer than 110 yards in a full game played this year, while Pickens stepped up with 19 catches for 359 yards and four touchdowns in the three games Lamb missed.
