DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The man responsible for a deadly stabbing in January is facing six years in prison.

Timothy Chatman was arrested by U.S. marshals in February for stabbing 26-year-old Jamarcus Golden to death .

Chatman plead guilty to second degree murder and was sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a one-year period of mandatory supervised release.
