DARTMOUTH, Mass. —

On Wednesday, NewsCenter 5 obtained several 911 calls made by witnesses of a deadly plane crash on a Dartmouth, Massachusetts highway the morning of Oct. 13.

The six 911 calls related to the crash were released by the Dartmouth Police Department.

Callers expressed both shock and bewilderment.

"I can spot behind me an explosion, I believe it looks like fire and a lot of smoke," said one female caller.

"I don't know if it's a plane crash, but it is a big crash," another male caller stated. "I just heard a big explosion."

"The thing exploded all across the highway," another man, who identified himself as a paramedic, told dispatch. "I was coming home from work but, yeah, the thing is in pieces... I'm getting out of my car now."
