(FOX40.COM) — Registered nurses at six Tenet hospitals in California delivered a 10-day notice of their plans to protest the hospital corporation's refusal to address nurses' concerns on patient care and safe staffing.

The California Nurses Association/National Nurses United represents 3,100 Tenet nurses who have been in contract negotiations since February with Tenet Healthcare Corporation. This one-day protest aims to urge management to ensure staffing standards for nurses to achieve the highest quality patient care.

Nurses at the following hospitals will participate in this strike on Oct. 30: • Doctors Medical Center (Modesto) • Emanuel Medical Center ( Turlock) • Doctors Hospital Manteca (Manteca) • San Ra
