HOUSTON — NRG Park unveiled a new mural Wednesday morning that celebrates the universal language of sports and Houston's diversity as the city prepares to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The artwork, titled "Panache," was revealed at NRG Arena.
The mural depicts three athletes from different sports—a soccer player dribbling, a woman on horseback executing a barrel turn, and a running back charging forward with the ball. Painted by artist Edosa Ogiugo and curated by Street Art for Mankind, the piece aims to showcase how sports bring people from all backgrounds together in pursuit of excellence.
The mural is part of the #OneBigFamily series, created to honor the unifying power of soccer and sports in general as Houston prepares for the World Cup. The artwork was made possible through support
