Just days after announcing a price hike , HBO Max has revealed a new feature that will allow users to rate content, feedback that the service says will help it personalize customers’ feeds.
“The update is designed to improve content relevance and give users more control over their browsing experience,” according to an HBO Max statement.
The three levels of ranking are “Love,” “Like” and “Not For Me,” and the service says it will adapt its recommendations based on the input.
The feedback buttons will appear on the content details page for each movie or TV series. They will also surface in the player when a user finishes a movie or series.
