TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A man barricaded himself inside a home on Tucson's eastside for over an hour Wednesday morning, disrupting a usually quiet neighborhood. The standoff ended peacefully when the man emerged from the house.

The Tucson Police Department was serving a search warrant related to a narcotics investigation, according to a lieutenant at the scene.

"We have a warrant for the residence you need to come outside with nothing in your hands," police were heard saying over a speaker.

The situation was unexpected for residents like Sondra Espich.

"It wasn't that nice, calm, morning we usually have on our street," Espich said.

The neighborhood near Kolb and Escalante Roads was filled with officers and deputies, some carrying rifles.
