Groundbreaking Fugees alumnus Ms. Lauryn Hill is coming to the Jube Dec. 10, the sixth stop on her eight-date, Artist in Residence Canadian tour. (A full year ahead of Rush to the day!)

Staring out as an actress on As the World Turns and in Stephen Soderbergh’s 1993 drama King of the Hill, Hill formed the Fugees in 1990 with Wyclef Jean and Pras Michael, Hill becoming the first woman to take home a Best Rap Album Grammy on the back of hits Killing Me Softly and Ready or Not, mixing rap, reggae and those perfect melodies.

Going solo, 1998’s massive The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was the first diamond-certified album by a female rapper, that path taking her to becoming the first-ever rapper to win the Album of the Year Grammy.
