There's no shortage of history between Lane Kiffin and Brent Venables.

The two brilliant minds on their respective sides of the ball have faced off several times dating back to the 2004 OU vs. USC national championship when Venables was the Sooners ' defensive coordinator and Kiffin was the Trojans ' passing game coordinator.

But, they've only called plays against the other once — the 2015 national championship game. Kiffin's Alabama offense edged Venables' Clemson defense, 45-40. On Saturday, when Ole Miss travels to Norman to face OU , the Rebels' offense vs. the Sooners' defense is the matchup to watch.
