PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A crash on Interstate-5 involving two Harley Davidson motorcycles on Saturday resulted in the death of a 42-year-old Oregon man.
Oregon State Police say the crash took place at 11:40 a.m. near milepost 34 in Linn County.
According to investigators, motorcyclist Joshua Moore "lost control while slowing for traffic and laid down his motorcycle in the lane of travel," while traveling north on the freeway.
Another motorcyclist who was traveling north was unable to avoid a collision and struck Moore, OSP said.
Moore was declared dead after being taken to a local hospital.
