LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A suspect is in custody after police said a shot was fired at a tire shop in Shively on Wednesday.

Officials said the report of an active aggressor came from the Discount Tires on Dixie Highway and Bachman Drive around 5 p.m.

Once police arrived at the scene, they determined there was not an active aggressor, but a single shot had been fired.

Police confirmed that no one was shot.

A suspect was located shortly after the incident and taken into custody.

Police said this was not a random act and those involved knew one another.

They have not released information about the suspect and what charges they might be facing.
