Ewing and homelessness service providers announced the plan a month ago. They said they would spend 30 days working out the details.

Overall, the plan intends to make the city and organizations' response to homeless encampments more effective and speedy.
As it was announced a month ago, the city would identify encampments that should be closed and give seven to 10 days' notice. The city also intends to improve its communication with organizations.
The city would try the plan for six months and review the results.
