PITTSBURGH, Pa. (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) - Aaron Rodgers told Breece Hall in Week 1 that playing against the Jets at MetLife Stadium wouldn't be as emotional as facing the Packers for the first time.
"I think it would feel different if it was going back to Green Bay," Rodgers said. "I have a lot of love for the organization, but if we're playing at Lambeau [Field] that would be a little different feeling."
It makes sense. His stay in New York was just a two-year fling, while his 18 years in Green Bay were like a marriage.
"I grew up there. I spent 18 years there. From (being) 21 to 39, so I'm thankful for my time there," Rodgers said.
