Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take veteran wide receiver and special teams returner Ray-Ray McCloud III to find a new home following his unexpected release from the Atlanta Falcons.
According to Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com, the Giants have signed Ray-Ray McCloud III to their practice squad. The move comes one day after the Falcons released McCloud, who was sent home ahead of their Week 7 road game against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Giants are short-handed at receiver after losing superstar Malik Nabers for the season in a Week 3 home win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Aside from the sidelined Nabers, Wan’Dale Robinson (35 catches for 446 yards and two touchdowns) is the only Giant with over 200 receiving yards.
