For the second time this season, a football coach in the Eastern District has been replaced, as Booker T. Washington High has made a coaching change.
Mason Williams has stepped down as head coach, saying it was “mutually agreed.” Parish Howell has been named the interim coach.
Williams was 1-16 in two seasons with the Bookers, including 0-7 this season. The Bookers have lost nine games in a row.
Earlier this month, Granby High replaced head coach Kendal Jefferson. Granby athletic director Chris Harris said he couldn’t comment on personal matters other than to say Jonathan Wilson was named the interim coach.
