INDIANAPOLIS — Three Indianapolis Colts legends an a Purdue University great have reached the next stage toward induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Wide receiver Reggie Wayne, kicker Adam Vinatieri and defensive end Robert Mathis were among 52 former players to advance in the voting process, the Hall of Fame announced Wednesday . Center Jeff Saturday, who was among 128 nominees, did not make the cut.

Wayne and Vinatieri were both finalists last year , but fell short of being inducted into the hall of fame. Wayne has been a finalist in each of his six years of eligibility, while 2024 was the first year Vinatieri was eligible for induction.
