SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - It was a week of incredible success at the University Park Golf and Country Club, where a series of golf, pickleball, and other events culminated in a significant fundraising achievement. Over the past week, this dedicated Manatee community has collectively raised over $100,000 for vital breast cancer research.

The annual event, known as “Pink Week,” has been a cherished tradition in the community for the past three years, taking place every October.

Today, the men took to the greens for a spirited four-man “shamble,” where players strategically hit from the best drive on each hole. The women enjoyed their turn on Tuesday, making it a week of both fun and philanthropic effort.
