NILES Families took time on Wednesday to gather at Eastwood Field in Niles to not only celebrate the Halloween season, but also to enjoy some trick-or-treating.

The event took place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with children of all ages and family members invited to the 27th annual "Trick or Treat" event, presented by Once Upon A Child in Niles.

Families and local businesses were able to fill bags with Halloween candies and other seasonal goodies.

Heather Sahli, General Manager of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, told 21 News that the event aims to be a safe and fun event for families to come to every year.
