India lost the first ODI against Australia at Pert and now the Men in Blue will be hoping to bounce back and win this match at Adelaide Oval. In the rain affected last ODI, India merely managed to score 136/9 which Australia chased easily. There was a complete batting collapse and both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed miserably after making a comeback to international cricket with seven months break.
For the hosts, there have been a few changes in personnel. Left-arm spinner Matt Kuhnemann has been released from the squad, while leg-spinner Adam Zampa rejoins the team after missing the opener due to the birth of his child. Wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey, now fully fit after featuring in a Sheffield Shield match, is also available for selection.
