AUSTIN (KXAN) -- This year’s inaugural Texas Capital Air Show in San Marcos has been canceled and postponed until next year due to the Federal Government shutdown, said a news release.

The air show was originally scheduled for Nov. 1-2, 2025, but organizers determined that they’ll be “unable to give our great fans, and our Veterans and First Responders the kind of air show you deserve.”

Organizers said the event was postponed to Nov. 7-8, 2026.

What happens to tickets purchased for the event?
