MOSS BLUFF, La. (KPLC) - Instead of bleachers filled with fans, one Southwest Louisiana school filled its gym with faith.

It wasn’t your typical game night at Sam Houston High School - students traded scoreboards for a night of food and fellowship.

“We’ve been planning this night for a long time, and every year our goal is that every person that walks through that door hears about Jesus and who he is,” student Natalie George said.

The Fields of Faith event brought teens from all walks of life across Southwest Louisiana.

“Three years ago, when I heard a lesson, I finally understood why I wanted to be baptized. After that, I started evangelizing throughout my school and the Moss Bluff community,” student Tremaine Johnson said.
