Play for time: UA's decision to 'discuss' Trump's higher-ed power grab may be the best path

The UA has rejected, for the moment, the Trump administration's attempt to seize control of campus operations in return for the opportunity to beg for money. Instead, UA chose to negotiate, in a move that may be more about redefining "yes" than just declaring "no."
