CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Despite a loss at the end of the night, plenty of smiles were to be had amongst Redhawks volleyball fans, players, and coaches.

SEMO volleyball took Missouri to five sets, with the Tigers pulling away in the final set to take a 3-2 win over the Redhawks.

Houck Field House was sold out for the matchup, with fans lining up outside the doors to try and get a seat.

From the get-go, the fans that did get a seat, helped create an unforgettable atmosphere. Katy St. John, the Jackson native and SEMO freshman, scored the first point of the evening, and from there the crowd carried the energy for much of the night.

While Mizzou went out and won the first set 25-18, it was SEMO coming right back to notch things up at 1-1, with a 25-20 victory on the second, with Marin
