The last thing anyone wants on opening night is an injury. Worse still, a bad prognosis. That’s how it’s unfortunately looking for the Milwaukee Bucks. The season opener against the Washington Wizards ended in a 130-120 win but concern overwhelmed the excitement. Especially after Kevin Porter Jr. and Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered a few setbacks. Pretty quickly after the game, Doc Rivers addressed those concerns.
The first half was eventless for the Bucks who hosted the Wizards on Wednesday night until the last few minutes. Kevin Porter Jr. hurt his ankle and went back to the locker room. He ruled out for the rest of the game. An ankle sprain was thrown around but nothing was officially confirmed.
