The air quality of Delhi-NCR remained under the "very poor" category as the overall air quality index was at 362. The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) had last week invoked Stage II of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) across Delhi-NCR.

The Air Quality Index (AQI) around the Anand Vihar area recorded at 428, in the 'Severe' category, as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

Forecasts from the Centre's Air Quality Early Warning System (EWS) indicate that Delhi's AQI will likely remain in the 'very poor' category till October 25, after which it may fluctuate between 'poor' and ‘very poor’ for the next six days.
